Drop it, see it
Drop in files or folders and the resulting folder tree appears immediately. Nothing moves until you say so.
Build any hierarchy
Drag 24 fields — maker, model, date, lens, F-number, rating and more — into any order, then save the ones you use as presets.
Always undoable
Every run is journaled, so ⌘Z puts everything back. Deletions always go through the Trash.
What it does
- Preserves creation time. File birth time (btime) is never modified.
- Keeps JPG / RAW together. Matching RAW files and XMP sidecars are never left behind.
- Reads XMP star ratings. From sidecar files or embedded XMP alike.
- Safe deletion. Nothing is erased outright — it goes to the macOS Trash.
- Japanese / English. The interface follows your system language.
Privacy
Imanage collects and transmits no personal information. Reading your photos and filing them into folders happens entirely on your Mac. There is no network communication and no analytics of any kind.
