Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the macOS application “Imanage” (the “App”) handles personal information.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects no personal information whatsoever. It does not obtain, store, or transmit your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personal data.

2. Photos and Files

To organize your photos, the App reads only the files and folders you explicitly choose or drag and drop into it. It reads the EXIF data recorded in your photos (capture date and time, camera maker and model, lens, focal length, aperture, ISO, and similar), XMP data (star rating, creator, and similar), and file names, extensions, and timestamps.

None of this information ever leaves your Mac. Neither your photos nor the data read from them is transmitted to the developer or any third party.

3. Network Communication

The App performs no network communication. It has no capability to connect to any server and operates entirely offline.

4. Analytics and Tracking

The App performs no usage analytics, sends no crash reports, displays no advertising, and does not track you. It embeds no third-party libraries or SDKs for any of these purposes.

5. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your Mac. None of it is transmitted anywhere, and it can be removed by deleting the App.

• App settings, such as your destination folder, folder hierarchy, presets, and display language
• An operation journal used to undo your most recent organize run
• Diagnostic logs, only when you explicitly enable them

6. How Files Are Deleted

The App never erases files outright. Any operation involving deletion moves the item to the macOS Trash instead, so you can always restore it if something goes wrong.

7. Disclosure to Third Parties

Because no information is collected, there is nothing to disclose to third parties.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App collects no personal information from users of any age, including children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Any material change will be described here.
